Part 1: Individual Analysis ROLE: FINANCIAL OFFICER On your own, you will develop a solution to the case based on what works best for your role. The solution will include: â€¢ an overall statement of the management challenge presented by the case â€¢ a statement of the facts of the case â€¢ a proposal that addresses the challenge and that states what would be best from the perspective of your role â€¢ a defense of the proposal This part of the project should require 2 â€“ 4 pages of text. Panel Project Rubric The individual analysis will be graded based on the following rubric: 90â€“100 Student(s) clearly display superior understanding of the course concepts important to the case and convey this understanding through a professionally prepared written report. Student(s) emphasize critical thinking skills and use case and other academic sources to defend responses or provide counterarguments. 80â€“89 Student(s) display above-average understanding of course concepts and demonstrate most of the above, but may be slightly off-track or weak in one of the content areas or written requirements. 70â€“79 Student(s) display average understanding of the course concepts and demonstrate most of the above, but may be slightly off-track or weak in two of the content areas or written requirements. 60â€“69 Student(s) display below-average understanding of the course concepts and demonstrate only some of the above; are off-track in at least one of the content areas and are weak or noncompliant with one of the written requirements. 50â€“59 Student(s) display minimal understanding of the course concepts and demonstrate little of the above; analysis and/or presentation shows weaknesses in content and fails to meet most writing requirements. 0â€“49 Student(s) display no understanding of the course concepts; grade is assigned based on the severity of the weaknesses exhibited in content and the extent of the failure to meet writing requirements.
